Your day will start early. The tour guide will pick you at the reception of your hotel. Once ready, both the driver and him will take you outside the city to the warm Fusagasugá town.
Although the famous coffee axis is a long way away, Hacienda Coloma is relatively close. So, no need to travel far! After an hour and a half, you will get to the entrance of the beautiful Hacienda Coloma, the coffee farm.
At the place, you will meet the expert coffee guide who will take you through the Hacienda’s gardens. Marvel at its spectacular orchids and flowers while learning all about Colombian coffee which is full of aroma, flavor, and varying strength.
Then visit from the seedbeds to the plantation and from picking to de-pulping, washing, drying, toasting and even grinding process. Finish this tour inside the hacienda by tasting its own coffee and coffee liquor made there as well.
Later, after exploring the farm, rest your feet. If you choose it, the tour will include a traditional lunch in Fusagasugá town. If not, our guide will have great recommendations on restaurants and traditional plates. Finally head back to Bogotá.
