Tour Guatavita Tour Zipaquirá City tour Bogotá Walking tour
I studied Finance and International Relations at the Universidad del Externado, in Bogotá. After my graduation in 2015, I have always been involved with several projects related to receptive tourism around Colombia. I consider myself a curious person, with hunger of knowledge, passionate about foreign cultures and always willing to travel and discover the world. I specially admire Brazilian culture. What I appreciate the most of being a tour guide is the possibility to know and share with diverse people from all around the world which enriches me, day to day, personally and professionally.
I’m a very energetic person. Worker and eloquent. I’ve been studying drama since I was 11 years old. I started my professional career as actress at Teatro Libre in Bogota, and then I went to Argentina to finish my studies. Nowadays I’m studying a technical formation in locution. I find the Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Center and Silva’s poetry house the most enriching places in Bogota. I love to be a guide because, beside to acquire a wider cultural knowledge, this is my chance to show to the entire world the city where I was born and that I am so passionate about.
“Passionate about sharing”
I studied Creative Writings because I believe that art and culture can connect people. I love to work surrounded by energetic people you can learn and share with. I like Bogota, because is full of never- ending stories and it’s always a welcoming city. Being a Colombian tour guide is one of the most fascinating challenges I have had. We are living in historical times and I am glad for being part of this in this company.
“Love to Smile”
I am a fashionista who loves to dance salsa. I use to say “I want death arrives while dancing”. I am a passionate learner of languages and I’m working as a tour guide because my real intention is that foreign and local people discover and appreciate the true Colombia by applying the knowledge and the passion I have acquired while studying Government and International Relations. I feel grateful with life for having the experience to spend my time with people who decided to take the chance to enjoy this colorful and multifaceted country.
“Genuine… Irreverent; ¡Alive!”
My parents called me Mateo. I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and I’m 25 years old. I studied Anthropology and Political Science at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá and nowadays I’m studying Drama at Teatro Libre. Besides my studies, I´m also a tourist guide. I like to be a guide because I like to get involved and feel the energy created in any traveler´s soul.
